1st June - Move Date Scheduled Maintenance Notification  

Here at OAG, we are committed to delivering the world’s best air travel data platform. As part of this mission, we are making a significant and long-term investment in our core technology infrastructure to enhance performance, increase resilience, and reduce latency across our services.  

As a result of this investment, OAG is planning for a major upgrade of our data centre infrastructure on Sunday June 1st at 0800 GMT +1 

Maintenance work will be ongoing for 2-3 hours and the following products and data services will be unavailable at this time in the following products and data services:  

1. Analyser Suite 

2. Schedules Dynamic 

3. Cargo Flights 

4. Travel Planner Pro 

The following products and data services may experience some performance degradation and data latency during the same 2-3 hour period. 

1. Flight Info API  

2. Flight Info Alerts 

3. SSIM Files 

4. WDF Files 

5. MCT Files 

6. Reference Files 

This upgrade lays the groundwork for future improvements across our platform, enabling us to deliver faster, more reliable, and scalable services.

This ongoing initiative reflects our dedication to continuously improving the quality and reliability of the solutions we provide to our valued customers. 

Planned Infrastructure Upgrade: 

On Sunday, 1st June 2025 at 08:00 GMT+1, we will begin a major upgrade of our data centre infrastructure. This essential work is part of our long-term strategy to scale and modernize our systems to support the growing needs of our customers and partners. 

Preparatory Work: Beginning 22nd May 

In the lead-up to this upgrade, starting from  22nd May, we will be implementing backup systems and preparatory changes to ensure a smooth transition on 1st June.  

During this period, customers may experience brief and intermittent latency or minor performance degradation, lasting up to 20 minutes at a time, across the following services: 

1. FlightView XML 

2. FlightView Dispatch 

3. Web Components 

4. FlightView Batch 

5. FlightView Notifications for business 

6. FV Dynamic 

7. OAG Flights 

8. Routemapper

9. Flight Info API - Status

10. Flight Info Alerts - Status

11. Flight Info Direct - Status  

These short service impacts are a necessary part of ensuring robust fallback mechanisms are in place, helping us minimize any disruption to our services during the upgrade itself. 

What to Expect: 

• June 1st Maintenance Window: Minimal anticipated downtime; monitored in real-time by our engineering team. 

• No action is required from customers at this stage, but we will provide regular updates should any expected behaviour change.
