    At the request of British Airways (BA), an upgrade to the status data delivery to OAG is scheduled to take place. This upgrade will occur on 27 November 2024 from 23:00 to 03:00 (28 November 2024).

    During this time, there will be a delay in the distribution of BA status data, only, to OAG. However, please rest assured that there will be no data loss, and all messages will be distributed once the upgrade is complete.

    We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding as this essential work is carried out.

FVXML Latency Issues

  • Starting at around 15:00 GMT on 30th October, FVXML responses for some customers were experiencing latency in API responses. At 09:45 GMT on 31st October this issue was resolved.

    Root cause analysis work is ongoing, but the current understanding is that a planned change to remove the deprecated TLS 1.0/1.1 security protocols from our products caused some unexpected delays in API query responses. These changes have been temporarily backed out while we complete our root cause analysis.

    Full details of this TLS change were sent to all FVXML contacts on 21st October via an email notification.

Maintenance – Gradual OS Upgrades for FVXML Servers

    Due to some parallel issues with FVXML latency, unrelated to this activity, the scheduled maintenance work has been postponed until further notice while we conduct a full RCA on the unrelated latency issues. A new notice will be posted when the OS maintenance work is rescheduled.

This initiative is aimed at enhancing the security and supportability of our systems, with upgrades moving from Windows 2012R2 to Windows 2022 across staging and production environments. These upgrades are designed to be transparent, so there should be minimal to no disruption or impact for customers but please be aware if you do experience any disruption.

FI - Issue concerning missing flight cancellations
